I haven't written a "They said what!" blog in quite some time which is hard to understand especially considering that I find the things the girls say everyday amusing, but here are some of my favorites.
-Cecilia is very into naming her babies right now, some of the names she (without help) has come up with are Baby Erica and Marigold. She has named one of her two blankets "Bubaa" and the other is "Blanky," and the other day when I went to take some pictures of one of Young Women's horses Cecilia informed me that her horse's name is Lemon Drop. Someone please tell me where she is coming up with these things.
-While hugging Anna the other day she told me, "Mom, your armpits smell really good." I started laughing and she reiterated, "No really, they smell really good."
-Scott and I are always teasing Cecilia asking if we could please eat just one of her fingers or toes. The other day when I told her I was hungry and asked if I could please just eat one toe she said, "No, you don't want to, they're stinky."
-Before Scott went to Moab for his mountain biking trip he took the girls on a daddy daughter date to dinner at Red Robin and then to a movie. I went to the Relief Society birthday party. When I was explaining to Anna that she would be going on a daddy-daughter date that night she started laughing and said, "A date - that means I'll have to get married to dad."
-I got to go to the David Archuleta this last weekend and had a great time. The girls really love the cd and will ask to listen to it. Anna usually asks to listen to "cutie boy Archuletta" and Cecilia asks to listen to "Rocketman Archuletta" (again we have no idea). The other night after we had eaten dinner, Brennan asked Anna what we had eaten for dinner when she replied, "Archulettas" instead of enchiladas.
-Cecilia hears and pays attention to everything we say which can be good, but as all parents know can also be bad. The other day when I went to leave her room during naptime, she lifted her head off her pillow and said, "Don't even think about it."
-While saying our prayers at night we have realized how much Anna understands what is going on around her. She's really good about remembering if we have said someone is sick or sad and including them in her prayers. Cecilia on the other hand has decided that praying is something you do to list the things you like. The other night while saying her prayers she said, "Heavenly Father, thank you for this day. I love mommy, I love daddy, I love Anna, I love purple, I love Gabriella, I love Troy, I love blanky, I love flowers..." We were laughing pretty hard at her at this point. We sure love Cecilia.
