Cecilia has been in her dance class, "Jumps, Wiggles, and Giggles" since September. Every Monday at 1:30 Cecilia slips into a dance outfit (or a halloween costume) and shakes her little bootie for 45 minutes. On May 7th Cecilia had her first dance recital at Timberline High School on the "big stage."
This picture was taken at dress rehearsal - what good is jumping, wiggling and giggling if you can't do it with your friends. Here are Cec with Lily Sansberry and Winnie Millward.
The Thursday before the recital Cecilia and I went out for a special night. We went to her dress rehearsal, had dinner, and then went to Blue Cow frozen yogurt. It was great.
Grandma Terri, aunt Jordan, and aunt Sara all were able to come watch her. Before the show Sara came over and made Cecilia's hair curly (her request). This picture was taken when Jordan walked outside and told Cecilia how beautiful she looked.
I'm not sure she could be any cuter.
