Our Summer-At Last!

So I got behind on my blog this summer and then the task of catching up seemed so daunting I wasn't sure where to begin and now it is mid-October and now I have not only summer, but now also, family reunions, birthdays, school starting, fiji, and now fall. So here goes...

This summer was great-busy, but great, there was swimming in waterfalls, going to Lagoon with the cousins, concerts, and just spending as much time as possible with our family. Here are a few favorite memories from our summer.

On Memorial Day we went to a waterfall.

Anna, as always, jumps right in whenever there is a new adventure to be had. Although she did want her dad to be with her the first time out under the waterfall.

But after that she was adventurer-ala-Anna!

Cecilia was a little more timid and wanted to look around a little more before deciding to jump in.

But once she got used to the cold water-she was all in!

As for Lilly, this little swimming hole (where our cement on the basketball court has deteriorated) was her favorite spot to spend the hot summer days.

On the Fourth of July, Anna wanted to make cookies and deliver them to people, so that's what we did but then when Cecilia decided to skinny-dip in Bishop Bates' hot tub we decided it was time to go watch the fireworks.

Here is our Lilly girl and Scott-watching the
fireworks.

For whatever reason Anna and Cecilia thought the fireworks were hilarious.
We also spent time at Grandma and Grandpa's; Anna was finally tall enough to ride every ride at Lagoon and did multiple times and she did her first front flip off the diving board at the "Nat"; Scott and I went to Daughtry, Lifehouse, Lyle Lovett, and Dave Mathews (man, my husband loves me); Cecilia continued growing at an alarming rate and Lilly went from being our baby to being a toddler-it was great!
