Wednesday

Okay, so my I haven't fulfilled my goal to write more than once a week--so here is a catch up of the last week...

On Wednesdays. Anna meets with "Miss Sarah," a speech pathologist at Roosevelt Elementary. She qualifies for early intervention speech because she displaces her G's with D's and her K's with T's. She works with Sarah for a half and hour and then Scott and I use the teaching helps and games Sarah gives us throughout the week. Anna is doing great and can't wait to go to Roosevelt next year for kindergarten.

While Anna is at speech, Cecilia and I usually walk. We see a lot of squirrels and cats and dogs, but this week while walking we had a funny encounter with a cat. We were on our way back to get Anna when a cat jumped down from its porch and walked right in front of our stroller where it proceeded to lay down and then roll back and forth to Cecilia's enjoyment. After a minute it finally got up and moved and we started walking again, but we'd only gone a few steps before the cat ran in front of the stroller and started its crazy rolling around meowing scene again. Cecilia couldn't stop laughing (as you can see from the picture), but after the fourth or fifth time I was wondering if the cat had some sort of crazy disease and I should make a run for it. It stoped when we crossed the street, and I'm grateful I have this fun picture, but I think I may avoid that street from now on.
