When I was younger, every year we made sure we made it at least once to Lagoon. I remember riding across my cousins in the backseat as my grandma Anna Lou took us and then times with my parents and siblings, I always remember having fun, but nothing compares to seeing my kids enjoy their time with their cousins at Lagoon. When Alice left on her mission she gave all her children a letter and money expressing how she would like all of us to plan a trip to Lagoon. This Memorial Day weekend we met down in Utah and as usual had a lot of fun with each other as the entire Erickson Clan (Alice in spirit) spent a day at Lagoon.
The newest ride in the Kiddiplace is the Jumping Dragon and it was our first ride--no jumping though just spinning, and as far as Cecilia is concerned just plain fun.
Here are Cecilia and Carly extra excited because the train just started to go.
While Lagoon boasts the second largest zoo in the state of Utah (I'm not making this up) they should also boast that they also have the most depressed animals on earth . After seeing a couple of animals, Uncle Drew told Cecilia to look at the camel and her response was "no, it's ugly." Well Cecilia you just summed up what we were all thinking.
Beautiful Bella ready for a beat down. All the kids rode the bumper cars numberous times, which is funny considering that at least one of them was stuck in the same spot or spinning in circles the entire time alloted and almost in tears at the end, but aren't we all glutons for punishment if there is some hope for excitment at the end?

'I'm not sure anything shows friendship more than letting your friend have a lick of your icecream cone.
Lagoon for Lilly was a great time to nap. She slept almost the whole time and was an angel.
Here is Anna at the end of the day. She was such a champ, just tall enough to go on all of the rides (minus the rocket) and ready for anything. Her favorite ride was the Colossus and she went on it three times and didn't complain or shed a tear all day.
Cecilia's favorite ride of the day was Rattlesnake Rapids she is still talking about it over a week later and even made me draw a picture of it at church today. Thank you grandma Alice for a great time and memories that will last forever. We love you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have been dying to see the fun at Lagoon. Could those pictures be any cuter? (minus the camel)
That train ride has always depressed me!
