The girls and I were able to go stay with Grandma and Grandpa in Malad for a few days. While there Lilly got to meet Granma "Bean" and Grandpa Royce.
All kids love Grandma Laven lovingly called "Grandma Bean". She used to be a bus driver and would actually pull up outside our house if we weren't at the bus stop in the school bus and if we weren't ready we would wave her on. If our mom happened to be out of town for some reason at least one of us would end up "sick" and at Grandma's for the day...She has always been so sweet to all of us and it's so fun seeing her with my kids they love her.
Here is Lilly with Grandpa Royce. My Grandma and Grandpa Jones used to own and run a little store downtown that had ice cream and penny candy up front and had a bar named RoyLou (for Royce and Anna Lou) Lounge in the back. I remember many Sundays when we would go for drives we would stop at "Grandpa's Store" and get a soda and a treat, either a candy bar or icecream cone. My mom and I usually would get a maple icecream cone. Grandpa Royce loves my kids and is always asking for his hugs and my kids are always willing to comply-they love their great-grandparents.
