God Bless America!

On July 1st I met my mom and sister in Twin Falls to send Cecilia and Anna home with them to Malad for a couple of days. Brennan, Brad, Scott, Lilly and I went to a Reckless Kelly concert on July 3rd and then Scott and I woke up really early on July 4th and headed to Malad to spend time with my family and get the girls.
We made it to Malad just in time for the parade.

Anna and Cecilia got tons of candy during the parade, but the favorite suprise was a Smokey the Bear hat.

Here is Grandpa Royce after riding in the parade.

While in Malad Anna and Cecilia went swimming, ate fresh peas from my parents amazing garden, and played relentlessly with Jordan and my parents. They love it there.

One of the best things about swimming in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard is the clothing is optional.

We decided that after a long, hot day of parades, races, and Malad Idol that we weren't going to go to the fairgrounds to watch the fireworks, we were just going to light off our own. As Anna said, "No big deal, we have our own." Here is Grandma Terri protecting Lilly's ears.

Here we are while Grandma and Grandpa light off a few more fireworks.
All in all it was a great day!
