While the girls were sick with the swine flu, I decided to make their Halloween costumes. Anna wanted to be a cupcake and I had quite the time making her costume. I didn't realize I had been complaining about it that much until someone asked me how I had made it and Anna answered, "It was a pain in the rearskers." Good thing I had used the term "rearskers" instead of something else.
It may have been a pain to make, but it sure turned out cute. While we were Trick or Treating probably 50 different people said, "Oh my gosh, look at that cupcake! That is so cute!" Anna got used to graciously replying, "Thank you."

R.B. and Janet's family joined us at our ward party and Trunk or Treat. Here are Anna and Brooklynne, the cutest cupcake and scarecrow in town.
Anna was so cute in her costume and already is thinking of what she wants to be next year-let's just hope her mom will be able to make it!
