Another reason we go to Malad at this time of year is so that my parents and grandparents can see the girls in their Halloween costumes. Anna knew that she wanted to be a cheerleader since September, but Cecilia wouldn't choose for weeks. We would go into the store and show her costumes and ask "Do you want to be a dog (cat, witch, ghost, princess, etc. etc.)?" and she would shake her head, push the costumes away and say, "No, I don't want to be a dog (cat, witch, ghost, princess, etc. etc.)" We finally found a costume at TJ Maxx that she liked, especially after I put it on her and showed her how she looked in the mirror. So Anna is a cheerleader and Cecilia is a ladybug although if you were to ask her what she is for Halloween she might tell you she is a princess, dog, cat, witch, or ghost.
Here are the girls with their Great-Grandma "Bean," my Grandma LaVene who will be88 in June. She is such a sweetheart and loves the girls so much. She always says "they look just like dolls" and the girls will just hug her and climb up in her lap even if it has been months since we have seen her.
Here are the girls with Great-Grandpa Royce. He is always so excited to see them and went out and got special treats for them, so that when they came Trick-or-Treating he would have something for them.
Here is Anna with Jordan and my mom. I made tie-dye pumpkin t-shirts for our family and my mom and sister decided they wanted some too, so here they are wearing them before we went trick-or-treating.
