The Pumpkin Patch

This week we had the opportunity to accompany Anna's preschool class to the Linder Farms Pumpkin Patch.

Here is a picture of Anna with some of her classmates and friends getting ready to go on the hay ride. All of the girls were supposed to make a funny face, but Halle Smith (on the end) was so sad because she didn't think that Anna was going to sit by her on the ride, she still hadn't figured out, in her grief, that Anna had moved so that they could sit together.

Here is Cecilia waiting to go for the ride. They drove us around the farm through mud and we got to look at pumpkins-lots and lots of pumpkins. When the lady was telling us the rules about staying seated she mentioned that we should watch for the animals while on the ride. Now when we came upon the animals there were the normal farm animals, cows, dogs, sheep, but there was also a camel, and a zebra. I'm not sure why they have a camel and a zebra on their farm, or exactly how you come to own animals of that sort, but I swear they have them there.

Here are the girls with their pumpkins and although you really can't tell from the picture we really did have a great time at the pumpkin patch.
