At the first of December we got to attend a dance "Precital" for Anna's ballet class. It's called a "precital" because the main recital is in May, but they want parents to know what they are learning in class, so they hold a small recital in the studio for parents to come and watch.
Here is our beautiful Anna posing for a picture before her show began.
Here is Anna shaking her hips to her Hawaiian Christmas song. She is quite the dancer and did a great job in ballet, but has decided that shaking her hips isn't enough and that she'd rather shake her bootie in Hip Hop. We are so proud of her and how willing she is to try new things.
Here is Cecilia, our little misfit during the show watching herself in the mirror. We thought that she wasn't paying attention, but ever since we went to watch Anna she is continually dancing around the house saying, "Look, ballet, mom."
