I had to write about this tonight so I didn't forget exactly what was said.
Tonight Cecilia and Anna were playing together. Anna was the mom and Cecilia was the baby. At one point Anna told Cec to sit in time out and then went to turn on the timer (just like I do when I put one of the girls in time-out). Cecilia sat there for about 30 seconds and then climbed down, Anna told her to get back into the chair and Cecilia responded with, "No, I'm not naughty." Anna said, "Yes you are, in fact I'm writing your name on the list for the naughty contest." Anna then preceded to pretend to read a letter from the organizer of the naughty contest. "Dear Anna, the naughty contest will be tonight behind the Hindlicks house. Bring Cecilia, who is very naughty and we will try to help her. We love you very much. From Addison." I was watching this all play out and was laughing so hard I cried.

I like the (pretend) naughty contest idea! Too bad my kids are a little too old to buy it, and I don't think it would be appropriate in the preschool setting...Dang.
