Primary Program

Yesterday was the Primary Program in our ward. The week before, when we were all sick, Scott got a copy of the program with all the parts marked so Anna could practice. She worked really hard on her part all week and had got to where she could read it without any hiccups. So on Sunday morning she was ready to go. She did her first part without any problems, but when it was her turn to do her second part she said the first sentence and then paused and looked at the Primary worker for help. The Primary worker then proceeded to tell her a completely different part than Anna had practiced. She looked pretty shell shocked. About two kids later another little girls read the part Anna had practiced. After sacrament, Scott and I went up to tell her she had done a great job. She shed a few tears and said, "That girl took my part." We told her repeatedly that she did wonderful and that it wasn't anyone's fault. It just so happened that because she was sick and then only able to go to the first part of the practice on Saturday no one caught it. She is such a sweetheart and we are so proud of how hard she worked. Anna, you were great.

Anna...I so wish I could have seen the Primary program. Brennan told me you did a great job. I love and miss you so much!
