Pumpkin Patch!

For the past three years, the girls and I have gone to the pumpkin patch with their preschool. This year, Cecilia couldn't wait to go and I was even going to let Anna miss school and come for the day, thanks to the swine flu had to stay home. So on Saturday after ten whole days at home we took our family and went to the pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful night and we had a great time.
We got their right before the sun set and the cornstalks, pumpkins and red barn were the perfect setting for our our night.
Here is Anna with her pumpkin. she liked it because it was red in spots.

I actually picked this pumpkin out for myself, but Cecilia insisted that she have it. I loved the shape of it. I think it adds to the fun of carving pumpkins when you have what would be considered an unperfect pumpkin.

Here is Scott and Lilly. She is such a pleasant baby and it is so fun to see her feeling well again. The swine flu hit her and Anna harder than it hit Cecilia. I had taken her in to the doctor on the morning of the 16th where she was diagnosed with the swine flu an ear infection and broncitis. She had to visit the emergency room that night because her fever was so high
and she was having trouble breathing, but now she's back to being our happy healthy baby. She shakes her head yes, when she wants something and loves to stick out her tongue-We love her.

Here are Scott and the girls on the hayride. Cecilia kept saying, "This is so fun." I'm glad she thought so, I loved it. When we got home we finished off the night with hot chocolate and toast - the perfect ending to a great day.
