-The other night I must have been really tired because I didn't hear Cecilia come into our room (I'm usually a really light sleeper). She touched my arm and I must have jumped and startled Scott because the next thing I knew Scott sat up, grabed my leg, and then proceeded to yell "Son of a B****" as loud as he could. Cecilia was so scared she immediately burst into tears, and for Scott-he couldn't even remember doing it the next day. *Please note that while this is the first time I've mentioned Scott's sleeping outbursts that this one was mild compared to others and I guess I should just be happy he wasn't violent this time.
-So, Anna was diagnosed with the swine flu today, and yes it really is as awful as it sounds. She has been quarantined and my mom (the saint) has come up to help because I am not supposed to be around her (I get it-Lilly gets it). While at the doctor she had heard him ask me if she had been exposed to the swine flu and I had said, "Well, she's in kindergarten." And he responded with , "Then she's been exposed to everything." She must have remembered this conversation when I was telling her I think it's called the swine flu because some people in Mexico originally got it from pigs. She very sincerly looked at me and said, "We don't have pigs in kindergarten. We have a gecko and a rat."
-Cecilia threw up tonight (that's right we have the swine flu and a child throwing up, so if anyone would like to expose their children to the illnesses of the season please send them on over) and when my mom went to get her a bowl in case she needed to throw up again she got very upset and said, "I don't want a bowl on my head." I think she thought that she was going to have to keep the bowl on her head covering her face in case she threw up again.
