Brennan and Brad have been living in Alice's apartment while she has been serving her mission, so we kept close tabs on them as they prepared for their first child. I was suprised when Brennan came in to talk to me five weeks before she was due and described some things to me that made me pretty sure she was in labor. She called me after seeing her doctor to let me know she was heading to the hospital and I met her and Brad there. After hours of labor we welcomed the beautiful baby, Dane Robert Lau as the newest member of the Erickson Family.

Erin and Courtney came to be with Brennan during labor and for the few days after she brought Dane home, and we were lucky to have them and Tyler with us for a few days. Tyler is on medication that makes him hungry at night and one night as I walked upstairs I could hear a rustling coming from near our pantry. Upon closer inspection I found Tyler with a box of granola bars opening them and eating them as quickly as possible. He had already eaten three and was about to open his fourth when I found him. Upon being caught he just layed down and went to sleep on our floor and I had to get a picture of him-the sweet kid-we just love our Tyler.
