Anna turned seven on Monday, September 7th. We spent Labor Day weekend in Utah with my family attending the Broadway Play of the Lion King for Anna and Jordan's birthdays-I can't even begin to describe how wonderful it was.
Instead of a cake Anna and I made special ice cream cone cupcakes for her class.
For Anna's birthday party, she wanted a Top Chef birthday so we bought chef hats and aprons, used recipe cards as invitations and got in the kitchen. Here are Anna with Brooklynne showing off their missing teeth.
Here are all the goofs after a busy night of serious cooking.
Scott rolled out pizza dough and each child made their own pizza with toppings galore.
While the pizzas cooked everybody got two cupcakes to decorate with frosting, sprinkles, and candy-it was a delicious mess!
Here is Anna with her good buddy Mason. Mason's family moved in down the street from us this summer and he is in Anna's class this year, they have the best time together.
Anna is my "Sweetie" who works hard, is kind, and never afraid of trying new things. She continues to grow up too fast, but we are so proud of who she is. Love you, Anna bug!
