Lilly had never had a big birthday party and she was ready for one this year. She really wanted a princess party so I made scrolls, Scott burned his fingers burning the edges of them, and a royal decree was sent out inviting all princesses, princes, knights, and pirates to join us on her birthday.
Here is the birthday girl in her new outfit Grandma Alice made her.
Here is the kitchen where we hung streamers and paper mache flowers while Lilly was sleeping so she could wake up to it all decorated.
At the party we played pass the poison apple where we played princess music and whoever ended up with the apple had to pretend to fall asleep and then princess Lilly gave them a kiss to wake up. She was supposed to give them a Hersey kiss, but insisted on really kissing everyone, which was so Lilly and so cute!
We also did bubbles and had magic fairy dust for the kids to throw around.
She wanted a castle cake and while it was a little lopsided-she loved it.
I hope all her wishes come true.
Here are all the kids dressed up and ready to party!
We also beat up a piñata- a dragon one and I think we fulfilled the princesses whims and wishes on this special day. Happy birthday my special girl!!
