John was almost four months old when we finally had him blessed. With him being so sick when he was little we didn't take him out and then coordinating with family was nuts, so we finally just picked a weekend in May and told everyone that we would love it if they could make it. My family came from Malad but it was a hard weekend for the Erickson's and only Brad Lau, Scott and the Bishopric were in the circle.
Anna was blessed in the dress I had been blessed in, so we wanted John to be blessed in Scott's blessing outfit-although John was a lot bigger than Scott had been when he was blessed and the outfit was so tight we had to leave buttons undone in the back.
After the blessing was done I went ahead and changed him into a white onsie I had bought and a tie Alice had made.
I love this little man!
