I haven't done this type of post in a long time (or any post:() but needed to do this one because I am afraid I will not remember the crazy things my kids say.
-Cecilia prayed for months that John would be blonde like her. We tried to explain that the odds were not in her favor as all three of our girls were born with black hair, but she didn't waver. When John was born with his crazy white hair we were so shocked. When Cecilia came to see him for the first time Scott asked her where his blonde hair came from and she said, "I think from Jesus!"
-When we took John to Malad to meet my aunts and grandparents for the first time my Aunt Vicki came over and was loving John. At one point she asked Lilly if she could take John home with her, Lilly's response was, "No, you can't my mom has the boo boos" and she proceeded to point at my breasts.
-After Cecilia's experience with John's hair her faith grew immensely and she started praying out loud whenever she was frustrated. One day while mad at Scott over not filling up her camelpak for her bike ride I found her in the front yard crying and yelling. She was standing right next to a tree and I asked her if she was talking to the tree and she turned, put her hand on her hip looked at me like I was an idiot and said, "No, I'm talking to Jesus."
-My girls love the Muppets movie. Recently Anna and Cecilia were discussing if the Muppets were real. Cecilia was arguing that they were not; Anna was convinced they were. I explained that they weren't real in the sense that you could see one walking down the street, but they were real puppets being controlled by people. Anna then said, "I know they are puppets, but Kermit's real."
-While Lilly was playing with Barbie's over Thanksgiving she was having a boy and girl Barbie kiss. She then said in her voice, "Stop that kissing!" She then had the girl Barbie say, "But kissing is my favorite," and the boy Barbie respond with, "Mine too!" And then she had them kiss some more.
