Fire! Fire! Fire!

On Thursday, January 29th Anna's preschool went to the fire station.

Here is Anna's class with Miss Heather having a seat on the fire truck. Half of her class is out sick, but those who were there had a great time.

One of the firemen put on all the gear to show the kids how they would look so that they wouldn't be scared if there was ever a fire in their homes and they saw a fireman there. Cecilia was watching the fireman with great interest while another fireman told the kids that if they ever were in a fire they should do anything to get the fireman's attention: Yell, throw their baby dolls, etc. Cecilia, who was holding a baby doll at the time took him very seriously and proceeded to throw her doll at the fireman. I guess she is listening better than we think.

Here is Anna in her fireman garb. The coat was really heavy and the other kids who tried to wear the helmet couldn't hold their heads up without help it was so heavy, but Anna was just a trooper and did it all by herself.
