Anna couldn't wait for school to start this year. Mrs. Hezeltine, Anna's teacher, had sent her a letter telling her how excited she was to start school and after that it was almost unbearable.
We always take pictures in front of the roses on the first day of school.
Lilly needed in on the action and was more than ready to pose for a picture.

Scott always goes in late to work, so he can walk with us to school. Anna loves this part of her day.
I know embarrassing to have your mom come to the room to take a picture- oh well, she might as well get used to it now.
I know your going to rock the Second Grade this year!
