We celebrated Father's Day a week early because Scott and I were going to be out of town over the actual holiday. We decided to take the girls to Bruneau Sand Dunes a place only Scott had been to before. We loaded up a picnic lunch, mosquito repellant and spent the day on the Dunes.
If they look very energetic and clean it is because we had yet to climb the dunes.
Lilly loved the feel of sand in her fingers and it looks as though in this picture she is finding some inner peace!
Scott thought he'd give Cecilia a head start down the hill and was surprised to find out that she didn't need it-she flew down the hill at full speed and her Scott didn't catch her until she crashed!
We were still finding sand in her ears and hair days after our trip-but she was happy!
Lilly wanted in on the fun until...
she crashed and wasn't happy to have a mouthful of sand.
Anna was more hesitant than Cecilia, but loved racing her dad.
Overall it was a great day-a day to celebrate a wonderful father!
